Log Country Inn B&B of Ithaca - More About

About The Log Country Inn Bed and Breakfast of Ithaca

The Log Country Inn B&B of Ithaca has been operating since 1987 with Wanda as its host and owner. Wanda emigrated from Poland to the United States in 1985 after obtaining a degree in Biology. She wished to stay home with her daughters, so she decorated the three bedrooms in her log cabin and began to welcome guests in 1987. From the day she first opened the doors to the Log Country Inn, she has welcomed guests from all over the world, including members of the LGBTQ community, individuals from different religious faiths, and many other diverse identities. She has also hosted many different types of animals and often refers to the B&B as the "DOG" Country Inn.

We are located right on the edge of 7,000 acres of state forest and only 11 miles South of Ithaca College and 14 miles from Cornell University. Our Inn is a perfect “getaway” spot, where you can hike, walk, grill. It is truly a relaxing and peaceful place, fit for families, students, wedding parties, professors teaching at Ithaca College or Cornell University, or solo relaxation for visitors coming to the Ithaca area. Our location is also great for reunions or family gatherings.

During your stay in Ithaca, you can of course explore the Finger Lakes Region, take a tour of the amazing wineries, and hike Ithaca’s beautiful gorges, which are all just a 15-20 minute ride away.

We are open to collaborations with artists and creatives around the world. If you have an idea of an event you'd like to have at our property, just call us and we're happy to talk with you about it.
